MEET THE FACULTY

  • Jeremy Price

    Jeremy Price hails from Westchester County, New York.

    Jeremy graduated Magna Cum Laude from The Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam, receiving the Honors in Music Performance Award.

    Since moving to Saint Johns in 2016, Jeremy has been performing as a solo musician and with various groups on guitar and drums.

    You can find Jeremy performing at The Cloister in Sea Island GA, the Ortega Yacht Club, Osprey Village, the Double Tree Inn, Hammock Beach Resort, The Cummer Museum, private events, restaurants and more.

    Price has performed with Dustin Barber, Barry Olsavsky, Ray Geiser, Mike Perez, Julie Durden, and more.

    In 2023 Jeremy released “Coin Viewer” on all streaming services. This album consists of 10 original songs and features 9 incredible musicians from the first coast and beyond! Please consider giving it a list on the “Music” section of the website.

    Price teaches music in Fruit Cove, FL and is a Mike Balter teaching artist.

  • Lance Rauh

    Mr. Rauh is originally from the Poconos of northeastern Pennsylvania. He taught high school and college for 17 years before moving here to the St. Augustine area and joining the staff at Patriot Oaks Academy in 2016.

    Mr. Rauh has served as the director of bands at Delaware Valley High School in Milford, PA as well as Instructor of Music at East Stroudsburg University and Lecturer of Music at Susquehanna University.

    Mr. Rauh holds degrees from Susquehanna University (B.M.), Columbia University (M.A) and is ABD after 4 years of doctoral work at Boston University (CAGS).

    In the spring of 2014, Mr. Rauh was awarded a Citation of Excellence from the National Band Association (NBA) for excellence in teaching and has been nominated twice for the National Grammy Foundation’s Music Educator Award in 2016 and 2017.

    Mr. Rauh has appeared with many groups and musicians as a woodwind musician. In 2010, Mr. Rauh appeared as a woodwind musician on Nellie McKay’s internationally released CD Home Sweet Mobile Home. In 2000, he traveled to the World Saxophone Congress in Montreal, Quebec to perform the Meyer Kupferman composition Flight of Orestes as a guest member of the Adophe Sax Quartet.

    He has shared the stage with great musicians such as Phil Woods, Dave Leibman, Dave Brubeck, Billy Taylor, Christian Sands, Bob Dorough, David Murray, Chris Brubeck, Nelson Hill, Nathan Warner and Railroad Earth.

    Mr. Rauh teaches 6-8 band and chorus at Patriot Oaks Academy in St Johns, FL
